Knud A. Roald est un architecte né en Norvège en 1878 et décédé aux États-Unis en 1965. Il participa notamment à la reconstruction de la ville d'Ålesund avec son confrère Harald Kaas suite au grand incendie de 1904 avant d'émigrer en 1910 dans l'Oregon où il a poursuivi sa carrière professionnelle¹.
