Nouveau projet residentiel de 32 etages par Foster & Partners : 3 Beirut

L'immeuble Barakat, connu aussi sous "l'immeuble jaune", est un batiment de la Place Sodeco, ruine' par la guerre. Avec la collaboration de la ville de Paris, il sera rennove et transforme' en musee, en memoire de la guerre civile.
Il deviendra ainsi Beit Beirut (la maison de Beyrouth)

International engineering and business consultant High-Point Rendel has been appointed construction manager for a prestige $39 million project in the Lebanon.

The Town Quay Development (TQD) is the second part of a scheme to transform Beirut’s Western Marina into a vibrant modern complex which includes a yacht club, restaurants and luxury apartments. Apartments in the four-storey block will have spectacular views of mountains, the Mediterranean and the marina.

The client is the Beirut Waterfront Development S.A.L. and international property developer Stow Securities. The TQD is linked to another high-profile US $200 million project by Stow Securities called the Marina Towers. The luxury complex, currently under construction, will be connected to the yacht club by pedestrian underpass.

Article qui rend compte du devenir des anciennes maisons de Beyrouth. Elle sont detruites l'une apres l'autre, et remplacees par des tours modernes.

Je ne connaissais pas vraiment cette ville, elle a l'air d'être magnifique 
Les projets sont excelents,sa c'est de l'architecture moderne comme on devrait en voir plus souvent

Ils vont le lâcher après avoir construit au-moins un, n'importe le pays par ailleurs , Les enchères sont ouverts

Foster + Partners reveals first development to break ground in Lebanon
